About the Physician
Dr. Ahoubim graduated from Sackler School of Medicine / Tel Aviv University and is Board Certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He has been practicing since 2013 and has extensive experience with the use of BOTOX for chronic migraine headaches. Dr. Ahoubim has also applied the use of BOTOX to other muscle groups involving the neck, shoulders, and paraspinal muscles to help treat myofascial pain syndrome. This is a chronic condition characterized by localized muscle pain and tenderness in specific areas, often with trigger points that cause referred pain. These trigger points are knots within the muscle that, when pressed, cause pain in the affected area and sometimes in other areas of the body. The pain can be a deep aching, throbbing, or a squeezing-like sensation.
